About

LisenOK is a warm family daycare where children feel at home, cared for, and ready to explore.
We know how emotional it can feel to place your young child in someone else’s care.
That’s why LisenOK is more than a daycare—it is a welcoming second home where children are met with kindness, respect, and genuine care each day. In this warm, supportive environment, your child can discover new interests, build confidence, and grow with joy.
OUR GOAL
Our main goal is to help every child grow happy and confident and give them a strong start. We combine the warmth of a home-like environment with modern early-learning practices so each child can reach their potential and develop a love of learning.
Our Approach to Learning
and Care
1

Trust, Respect
and Safety

We use a respectful, child-centered approach that honors each child’s personality, emotions, and boundaries. Children feel secure and become more confident in a supportive environment.
2

Learning
Through Play

Children explore new ideas through engaging play and hands-on projects. This keeps their natural curiosity alive without pressure or rigid lessons.
3

Social-Emotional Learning
and Connection

Children learn to express emotions, understand how others feel, work through disagreements, communicate, and cooperate as part of a group.
4

Creative
Expression

Music, art, clay, and other creative experiences give children the freedom to imagine and express themselves while building thinking and motor skills.
5

Individualized,
Age-Appropriate Care

We consider each child’s personality, interests, and pace of development, adapting activities as their needs and abilities grow.
We combine a home-like atmosphere, play-based learning, creative projects, and thoughtful guidance to support each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Age-Appropriate
Development
Our program considers each child’s age, interests, and pace of development, balancing play, care, and achievable challenges.
Ages 2–3
Sensory exploration, language, and first discoveries: children explore colors, shapes, and how materials feel while expanding their vocabulary.
Finger plays, creative activities, and coordination games support fine-motor skills, movement, early thinking, and growing independence.
Ages 3–4
The focus at this age is communication, social skills, and emotional development.
Children practice cooperating, taking turns, and understanding emotions while building early reasoning through math games and hands-on challenges.
Ages 4–5
Gentle kindergarten preparation through play, exploration, and creativity.
Children strengthen early reading and math skills, attention, memory, reasoning, and pre-writing coordination while learning to cooperate and express themselves with confidence.
A Note from Our Director
Welcome to LisenOK Family Daycare!

I’m Tanya Gray. I created LisenOK because I believe the early years build an important foundation for a child’s future and their relationship with learning.

My professional approach began at the St. Petersburg Institute of Culture, where I studied the humanities, including pedagogy and psychology. I gained hands-on experience with children while organizing educational and developmental activities at a children’s library. Later, as a department head at the St. Petersburg State University Research Library, working with the Faculty of International Relations, Political Science, and Sociology, I learned to design educational processes thoughtfully and select practices with care.

At LisenOK, we pair play with age-appropriate learning—from sensory exploration, language, and coordination for younger children to early logic, creativity, social-emotional skills, and gentle kindergarten preparation for older children. We communicate and learn with children in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, helping them settle in comfortably and appreciate different cultures.

Homemade meals, a green yard for active outdoor play, and a caring team create an atmosphere where children feel at home. We value open communication with families and work together to help every child grow happy, confident, and curious.
